Long tail keywords are more specific and something that users are more likely to use if they are in a certain region or looking for a certain niche. From a SEO perspective, there is less competition to rank for the keyword.
Static webpages are pages where content does not change and stays the same regardless of when and where the user accessed the web page. Whereas dynamic webpages have different content each time it is viewed.
Make sure that the grammar and spelling is correct, integrate the keywords inside the content i.e. do not dump the keywords here, there and everywhere.
Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts, the key is to post high quality content consistently, and give people reasons to keep revisiting the blog (repeated visits are the driving force behind increase in traffic).
From a technical standpoint it makes no difference, however when it comes to users it makes a big difference, because when people type in 'www' to find a domain, the .com domain is more likely to be listed than .net.
