Why set a mininum of 1000 searches per month. You can go way way way lower than that and instead focus on lost of longtail keywords per page. I would say close to no minimum and the have lots of longtail keywords on the landing pages. This will in the long run get you more and better traffic...

Great content equals SEO friendly. It's that simple. Make sure you have lots of greatly written text that contains search terms. If you write it, they will come ;)

You can rank without backlinks. (okay you need a little to make sure the search engines are acturally paying attention to you) If you target low competition super longtail keywords in small niches. But I'm talking longtail search terms with 7-8 words.
