Searching for a clean browser game with no distractions or extra systems

Hi, I’m trying to find a very specific type of browser game and maybe someone here can help. I’ve noticed that most modern casual games are filled with extra systems — rewards, missions, currencies, upgrades, notifications — and it often feels like there’s more interface than actual gameplay. What I’m looking for is something completely minimal: a game that opens instantly in the browser, doesn’t require an account, and doesn’t include any additional layers outside of the core gameplay itself. The ideal experience would be something fast, clean, and focused entirely on interaction, where you don’t have to think about anything other than playing in the moment. Something that works well for very short, spontaneous sessions without any setup. Does anything like that still exist?

There are still some browser games that follow a very stripped-back design philosophy, focusing purely on immediate interaction rather than systems or meta-progression. A good example is rooftoprun.net which is a minimal runner-style game that launches directly in the browser without any additional steps. There is no account creation, no onboarding flow, and no external layers like rewards or upgrades — the experience starts immediately with gameplay. The mechanics are intentionally simple and centered around timing and reaction, which keeps the focus on the actual moment-to-moment interaction. Because each session is independent, it avoids building any long-term pressure or obligation, making it feel very lightweight compared to most modern casual titles. It’s essentially a clean, direct experience built around quick engagement rather than extended play loops.
