Double Glazed Roof Window
I have two large double glazed roof windows on the first floor. They are flat with no blinds inside. During a heat wave of almost 40 degrees I attached a tarp to them to reduce the amount of sunlight and heat coming into the house below. Then I bought custom covers and put them on today. But I started to worry about heat building up between the cover and the glass on the outside. I pulled the cover off and the part that was in the sun was very hot. My infrared temperature gauge said 50 degrees. Am I risking cracking the window?
