How To Recover A Hotmail Account

Please guide me on how to recover a Hotmail account as the phone number was not set and the alternate email address is also lost. Is there a phone number where I can call Hotmail and tell them about this issue.

This was a free account and not a business one so I wonder if somebody at Hotmail will be willing to help in recovering this email account.

There should be a "recover my account" or "recover my password" option. That's all you can do is go ahead with the steps provided and hope for the best. I don't think there is a phone number.
