Remote data analysts – good idea or too hands-off?

We’re sitting on a pile of data but don’t have the in-house bandwidth to make sense of it. Some founders I know have been hiring emote data analysts instead of UK-based ones to keep costs down.

Is this something worth exploring? Wondering if the time zone or communication ever becomes a blocker.
