Because Pakistan wastes a lot of money on army instead of having low economy and have a corrupt government. also because of illiteracy in Pakistan

Pakistan is not that much poor. You may check the latest stats from the IMF site. In fact, the government is poor but nation is Rich.It not means that politicians are poor. Politicians as well as government employers are corrupt, this is the main reason that it is a poor country.
