Do You Compare Net Salary Before Accepting a New Job?

Hi everyone,

When comparing job offers, many people focus on the annual salary, but I've found that the take-home amount after taxes and deductions is what really matters.

Have you ever accepted a job only to realize your monthly income was much lower than you expected?

I'm interested to know:

  • Do you compare net salary before making a decision?
  • Which factors matter most besides salary (benefits, bonuses, remote work, work-life balance)?
  • What tools or methods do you use to estimate your actual monthly income?
I'd love to hear how others evaluate job offers and avoid financial surprises.
