Domain authority or DA is a metric that was developed by Moz. If your domain authority is higher, that means your website is more likely to earn a higher ranking in search engines and also receive a high amount of traffic. It also acts as a good way to measure your SEO efforts as compared to the competitor websites.
Below are steps to increase the website’s domain authority:
1. On-Page optimization – Page content, title tag, description tag, URL structure, Image alt text, H1 tag, etc should be optimized.
2. Content – It is quite crucial to have high quality and relevant content on the website. Content should be well written and informative. If you have better content, there are more chances that another authoritative site will link to your site.
3. Remove bad or toxic links – Every month or quarter, we should check the entire backlink profile of our website.
