I think you're looking for backlinks from edu and gov sites. I don't necessarily have a list for you to visit and enter the domains, but I believe doing a quick google search on edu and gov backlinks will give you a lot of information and material for you to read.

Well that’s not exactly right that .edu and .gov sites create more traffic. However, these sources are most reliable source and search engines like Google gives more emphasis on the backlinks from these sources. So if you could place your link on these sources, you will get great benefits. Also finding these sites requires detailed searching, so find them by searching specifically targeting these sources.

I think these sites are only helpful if your business also belong to these sites. If you generate backlinks form irrelevant website than it is not helpful to you.
