Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how we assume everyone is constantly available. Between global events and personal interactions, it feels like the expectation to be perpetually connected has deepened, yet I’m finding myself more disconnected from actual people. I stumbled on a simple site recently that visually shows how many people are online at any given moment. It was a weirdly grounding reminder of the sheer scale of it all.
It made me wonder: is our constant connectivity making current affairs feel more overwhelming, or is it helping us process them? Are we becoming better informed or just more anxious? Would love to hear your thoughts on how the "always-on" culture is shaping your view of news and global issues.
(If you're curious about that site I mentioned, you can see the live numbers here.)
