Has anyone used one of these desks?

Hi! I've been thinking about how to improve my workspace. I often work 6-8 hours at a computer and at the end of the day I just feel like my back and neck are sore. I recently came across ProgressiveDesk and their promotional materials about height adjustable desks and ergonomic technology. I'm intrigued by their approach, but I'm still not sure how well it works. Has anyone used one of these desks? Is height adjustment important or is it just marketing? Is it worth the money if I'm otherwise happy with my regular desk?

I will say right away that I have been using the ProgressiveDesk adjustable desks for over six months now, and it has really helped improve my well-being. I also did not believe before that a desk with height adjustment could have such a strong impact on comfort, but as soon as I started using this desk, all my doubts were dispelled. At first, I was skeptical about the idea of "working standing up", because it seemed inconvenient and ineffective. But in fact, on the contrary, such desks give much more freedom in organizing the work process. I work from home, and, frankly speaking, I sit at the computer for more than 8 hours a day. Problems with back pain began a long time ago, and I tried different options - from support chairs to orthopedic pillows, but nothing helped as much as this desk. It has several advantages that I did not notice in regular desks. Firstly, it is the ability to alternate body positions - sitting and standing. After several weeks of use, I felt that my muscles became less tired, and the back pain went away almost completely. It also gives you a feeling of more energy, since it is much more comfortable to work standing up and you don’t feel such a loss of strength.

I've been thinking about such tables for a long time, but it always seemed like some kind of excess, especially since I have such a normal table. But it seems you're right - if you sit for several hours a day, ergonomics can really affect your health. I'll have to take a closer look.
