How do mergers and acquisition work?

I’ll start with the acquisition side. It typically starts with a strategic plan within the company that has within it some objectives, such as grow technology, marketshare, or some capacity. The CEO will assign someone if there isn’t an existing department and the hunt begins for some acquisition targets. Usually this first step happens in secret without the target company having any idea.

"I find mergers a very interesting process. The objective of the merger is to combine the assets while retaining all obligations and obligations for the new joint company. You can learn more about these processes by reading books on mergers and acquisitions https://imaa-institute.org/e-library-m-and-a/
At a high level, the company makes the prospect of a merger interesting to read about. It describes the form of a merger—one company joins another, or both companies join a third. It describes whether it will be a joint venture or a joint stock company. Changes in the share capital are described - for example, the list of new owners of the companies, the percentage of share capital conversion and any other special conditions between the owners."
