The only way to address this properly is for Google to add <link rel="canonical"> to Google Sites so that Google Search knows which is the preferred URL.

For wordpess website, you can change URLs from permalink while for HTML, change the name of server files.

But before changing the URL make sure to check the backlinks of URL. if backlinks are available, redirect the URL or else the links will be broken.
