No, Ajax is incredibly SEO-unfriendly, as spiders, etc. don't execute any of the Ajax calls. ... In other words, if the user can make use of Ajax by all means use it to improve their experience, but they should still be able to fully use the web site without JavaScript. (It's all about "graceful degradation" and all that.)

Google has crawled JavaScript since 2008. The idea that Google can crawl these types of pages is nothing new. Google wasn't able to gather a whole lot of amount of information from JavaScript pages, limiting their ability to be rendered and found over HTML websites. Now, Google has evolved, or so it seems.

Yes, but ajax code should simple and optimize for good results.
