I am considering transferring several small websites (WordPress and OpenCart) to a single VPS. I am considering options with a basic control panel, such as Plesk. I am leaning towards hostpro.com because it has a convenient panel and decent backups, but I am uncertain whether it will be difficult to administer. How do you decide — do you go for VPS or stay with shared hosting?
Is it excessive to use a VPS for several small websites?
