Looking for child-safe pest control options

Hi all! We’ve recently moved into a new house and noticed some unwanted pests—mainly ants and the occasional mouse. Since we have a toddler, I don’t want to use poisons or sprays. Does anyone know of a safe, long-term solution that won’t put kids or pets at risk?
 
Hello! We were in the same situation with small kids at home, so safety was our top priority too. We ended up using ultrasonic repellers.
