Planning a retro LAN party—need a fast, portable installer

Hey everyone, I'm hosting a retro gaming night at my place this Friday and we're planning to do a 5v5 Counter-Strike tournament. I need to find a version of the game that I can just throw onto a few USB sticks and install on my friends' machines quickly. Some of them are bringing Macs with Boot Camp and others have older Windows towers, so it needs to be a very compatible and "no-nonsense" installer. I don't want to spend the whole night troubleshooting "missing DLL" errors or CD key prompts. Does

For a LAN party, you definitely want the most "vanilla" version possible to avoid any mismatch errors when people try to join the host. I’ve used the files from https://counter-strike-download.net/ for several local events and it’s never let me down. The best part is that it doesn't require any complicated registry fixes or external patches to see local games. Just run the setup on each machine, and you’ll be ready to go in minutes. It’s also very stable, which is crucial when you have ten people connected to one router—you don't want the game crashing mid-round. Have a blast at the party, nothing beats a 1.6 tournament with friends!

This is a lifesaver, the installer is super quick and it's going to save me hours of setup time!
