While exploring development options, I also found several Polymarket clone script solutions that claim to offer a ready-made foundation for building a similar prediction market platform.


From what I understand, these scripts usually include features like:

• Market creation and participation modules
• Crypto wallet integration
• Smart contract-based settlement
• Admin and user dashboards

It sounds like a faster way to launch compared to building everything from scratch, but I’m unsure about the trade-offs.


So I wanted to ask the community:

• Are clone scripts actually worth it for this kind of platform?
• What are the risks in terms of security and scalability?
• Can a clone script be customized enough for a serious long-term project?
• Or is it better to build everything natively using smart contracts?
