Okay, let's talk email! What drives you absolutely bonkers in professional emails? For me, it's gotta be the overuse of exclamation points. Like, seriously, is everyone always THAT excited about everything? Also, people who reply to all when it's clearly a one-on-one conversation... Instant rage! Oh, and don't even get me started on emails with zero formatting. It's like a wall of text crashing down on you. So, what are your biggest professional email grievances? Maybe we can collectively vent and feel a little less alone in our suffering!

You are speaking my language! The excessive exclamation points are definitely up there. I also detest overly long email signatures with inspirational quotes or tons of social media icons. It’s like, keep it concise, people! One thing I think is important is to know how to write a professional email; it really matters in the long run. You want to be clear, concise, and respectful of their time. Clear communication with good grammar showcases professionalism. I actually read some great tips somewhere recently that touched upon this, maybe it will alleviate our suffering.

It is interesting how much our communication styles are evolving, though. With the rise of instant messaging and more casual online interactions, the lines of professional email are starting to blur. I see more and more people using slang or abbreviations in work emails, which would be unacceptable in previous times. Each company likely has their own unspoken rules about this regardless.
