Why contact lenses giving headache?

Headaches from contact lenses are no joke. I came across this article in lasik.com called "Headaches from contacts? What you should know". The article discusses 2 possible reasons for getting headaches from wearing contact lenses. First reason was from the gradual onset of presbyopia and the second reason was from astigmatism from toric contact lenses. Presbyopia is the loss of eye focusing ability as we age; this loss of focus creates a need for contact lenses. Toric contact lenses correct for astigmatism. However, contact lenses sometimes aren’t as effective at correcting astigmatism as glasses. A contact lens that rotates slightly on the eye can cause improper astigmatism correction. This can cause eye strain. The bottom line is that you must go back to the eye doctor to have your contact lenses re-done. If not the headaches are only going to get worse.

May true for some, but may not always be the case. People are using the contacts on a regular basis, and everything works perfectly fine for them. Hygiene plays a really important role when you are having contact lenses, some of the culprits comes from there.

You could try using glasses for a few day and if headache stops then you need to have contacts redone or checked. When i work on my web hosting paypal website that uses cheap vps linux that is instant linux vps i make sure thier is no glare and adjust the screen settings and monitor to reduce eye strain.
