Why Sitemap is important?

A site map is a kind of interactive table of contents, in which each listed item links directly to its counterpart sections of the Web site. Sitemap helps in easy crawling of all the pages of a website. Especially when you have a dynamic website or website with thousands of pages, xml sitemap is very helpful. After creating this sitemap, submit it to Google.

Using sitemaps has many benefits, not only easier navigation and better visibility by search engines.

Sitemaps offer the opportunity to inform search engines immediately about any changes on your site.

Of course, you cannot expect that search engines will rush right away to index your changed pages but certainly the changes will be indexed faster, compared to when you don't have a sitemap.

Sitemap is the web page which contains all the links of the website. And it is used to instruct the Search Engines to crawl and index the entire website.
