What are main benefits of "Long Tail Keywords"..?

Long-tail keywords are those low-volume, obscure, infrequently searched-for keywords that turn up in your search query reports. ‘Cheap remortgage for bad credit history’ is one example of a long-tail keyword. ‘Remortgages’ is not.

1. Search Volume (Impressions)
2. Click-Through Rate (CTR)
3. Cost Per Click (CPC) & Average Position
4. Conversion Rate
5. Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)

Long tail keywords are providing more detailed view of a search as well as it becomes easier to derive most of the quality traffic to derive on the website as long tail keywords are more specific to a result.

Long tail keywords are keywords or key phrases that are more specific (and usually longer) than more common “head” keywords. Long tail keywords get less search traffic, but will usually have a higher conversion value, as they focus on a more specific product. This post explains why you should focus on long tail keywords when optimizing your site.
